DYME CONNECTION

          AMBER PRIDDY GIRL SWAG
                              BY MARIUS MII

LCN: Hi Amber Priddy, welcome to Le Crème Nation. Tell us about your background

AP: I am of German, Italian and Irish descent but basically just a pure little white girl.  I’m from Charlotte, North Carolina but I currently reside in Atlanta, Georgia where I’ve been for the past 8 years.

LCN: Before we proceed, damn you’re well molded. What are your measurements?
AP: I’m 36DD-25-43

LCN: How did you choose your model name? It’s unique. Or is it your government name?

AP: My model name is my government name everyone always told me it was a unique name so I decided to stick with it.

LCN: Is modeling your full-time gig, or do you have another job? AP: I do model full time

LCN: What is it about your personality and your upbringing that makes you so passionate about modeling?

AP: My personality is perfect for modeling; I think that is why I’ve gotten as far as I have;  is because of my personality. I personally believe that if a model doesn’t have personality, she doesn’t have anything.

LCN: Did you pursue modeling with the hopes of being ANTM or on the runway? If so, how did you learn to accept your role as an urban model?

AP: I always knew that I could never do runway or ANTM because I’ve always been thick and had a bubble butt and also I am way to short for runway

LCN: Who introduced you to the urban modeling industry?

AP: I got introduced to the urban modeling world when I moved to Atlanta. I guess I was the new thick white girl on the scene so people wanted to put me in videos and etc (laughs).

LCN: What has this year been like for you in terms of modeling work?

AP: 2011 has been my biggest year in modeling. I started my year off with winning Blackmen Magazine Model Of The Year; then went on to the cover of 40 on 40 and everything else has been falling right into place.

LCN: How much experience have you gotten as far as working with and meeting people in the industry?

AP: I’ve gotten a lot of experience working and meeting people in the industry. I’ve done just about every urban magazine there is; and I live in Atlanta so meeting people in the industry is no problem.

LCN: What has been your most memorable modeling experience?

AP: My most memorable modeling experience was definitely winning the Blackmen Model Of The Year; that was just a great experience for me being a new urban model. A white one at that.

LCN: As an urban model, you likely deal with stereotypes. Which would you say is the worst?

AP: The worst stereotype is having a booty and everyone saying its fake.  Man… That gets on my nerves ! I just feel like it doesn’t matter what color you are, if you’re a thick girl your just a thick girl.

LCN: How is it being a full time mom and sexy model at the same time?

AP: Man being a full time mom is a wonderful thing; but sometimes the modeling interrupts. My son is very understanding and he says his mommy is a supermodel (laughs)

LCN: How is he accepted among his peers know that he has a beautiful mom that is also likely on their dads desktops and / or in their magazine collections?

AP: His friends are always saying things to him bout his mommy. He just laughs it off.

LCN: What would the average person say about you?

AP: The average person would say that I’m a real down to earth person and not to mention funny as hell (laughs). Oh ! And I would give my last if someone needed it.

LCN: How would you describe the image that comes across when people look at your photos?
AP: Well at first the image that would come across would be DAAAAYUUUMM !! SHE GOT A PHAT ASS!  But now I’m staring to do a lot more glamour shots.

LCN: What keeps you motivated? AP: The thing that keeps me the most motivated is just knowing that there are new models coming in the game everyday. I got to stay on top of my game to stay relevant in this industry.

LCN: Who are some of your favorite models in the industry overall?

AP: Some of my favorite models is CoCo of course. I also love Rosa Acosta’s work. Nevertheless, I love Buffie just because she always keeps it real and I love her attitude.

LCN: What makes you different from most Urban Models?

AP: Well of course I’m different because there’s only a handful of Caucasian urban models but I think my personality sets me aside from the rest.

LCN: Which model did you look up to while coming up in the industry and who would you closely compare yourself to?

AP: I’ve looked up to CoCo. Everywhere I go people are always comparing me to her.

LCN: What type of ritual or routines do you follow to relax before shooting?

AP: Before shooting I just love to listen to some sexy slow jams to get me in the mood. I just started this routine by the way (smiles).

LCN: What type of music is in your daily iPod rotation?

AP: As you know by now, I am a big R&B fan. I love chillin and listening to slow jams so my iPod is all R&B.

LCN: When posing nude or in thong, what swayed you to say, “Hey this is something that I wouldn’t mind trying”?

AP: I don’t really do a lot of nude posing but I always loved wearing a thong so I knew I could do it.

LCN: What would you consider your strongest attribute?

AP: My strongest attribute would have to be my personality and passion for modeling.

LCN: How do you maintain that perfect body?

AP: Maintaining a great body is hard; especially when you’re on the go all of the time. You just have to stick to a plan, a great workout, and be consistent.

LCN: How many tattoos do you have?

AP: I have 6 tattoos and I do plan on getting a few more.  Not too many though.

LCN: Do you think some models limit their marketability by getting inked?

AP: I don’t think models limit their marketability by getting inked I think there’s a great market for them as well

LCN: What would you say has been the reception from artists at the shoots?

AP: Every shoot I have been to has been very professional. The artists have been really nice and took a great liking to me.

LCN: Is there an artist you would like to be in a video with?

AP: I’ve always wanted to be in a Jay Z video. That would be the best if I got casted for one of his videos.

LCN: Where do you ultimately see yourself down the road?

AP: Ultimately down the road I see myself being very successful and making a household name for myself.

LCN: Is acting something you’re looking to attempt in the future?

AP: Acting is definitely in my future. I’ve already done a few things such as Tyler Perry’s House Of Payne and Madea Goes To Jail.

LCN: What actor would you love to do a movie with; and what kind of scene would you like to perform with that person?

AP: I would love to do a scene with Mekhi Phifer and it would definitely have to be a passionate scene.

LCN: Now, a lot of models have a plan B. Do you have a plan if this career doesn’t work out?

AP: Yes I definitely have a Plan B. A woman should always have a back up plan. That’s a must!

LCN: What was the last good movie you’ve seen?

AP: The last good movie I saw was Bad Teacher. I actually saw it today. I love movies that make me laugh

LCN: What do you consider your sexiest feature?

AP: I think my sexiest feature is my eyes well that’s what men tell me.

AP: I am very single, and taking applications for a great man so send those apps my way.

LCN: Cool, I’ll be expecting a call and an interview from you soon (laughs).  So what’s the one thing you look for in a man?

AP: The number one thing I look for is he has to be rich…  No I’m joking (laughs) but seriously, I love personality. My man has to have a great personality.

LCN: What type of characteristics and features turns you on and off?

AP: What turns me on; men that smell great, know fashion, and have pretty teeth. What turns me off is stink breathe and dirty shoes. Oh and definitely acting thirsty turns me off.

LCN: Do have a secret crush on a female entertainers or models?
AP: No I don’t have any secret crushes on any females (Laughs)

LCN: If you had to choose one model to do a girl on girl shoot with, who would it be and why?

AP: I would definitely want to do a two girl shoot with Coco. Man that would be a whole lot of vanilla ass on one page.

LCN: (Laughs) Well any secret weaknesses or guilty pleasures?

AP: I don’t have any secret weaknesses or guilty pleasures

LCN: What’s the wildest thing you’ve ever done?

AP: The wildest thing I’ve ever done was have sex on a school bus after a game in high school with my cheerleading outfit on. It was my senior year and we got busted. They shined the light on us too. I was so embarrassed.

LCN: Dayumm, I’m sure that guy still brags on that high school memory (laughs). That’s cool though. What’s the kinkiest item you own?
